First iPhone Application submitted to Apple store

We are very excited to announce that the first application of the "dot tribes" platform has been submitted to the Apple store last Friday.

The application is called "green dot tribes" and it is the most complete ecology content aggregator in the market. And it is the first of a set of applications within the "content dot tribes" product line.

During the upcoming days we will be releasing five new tribes using the same platform.

The public beta period is expected to last only a couple of weeks. During this time all the tribes will be free of charge in the iTunes store.

Due to some administrative delays we have skipped the version 1.0 and we have posted directly the version 1.1.0, which includes the same set of functionalities, but with the ability of filtering content by languages. It also includes translations to German and Spanish.

The version 1.2 is on its way and it is expected to be posted in all the tribes by the beginning of April. An iPad version of the applications is expected by the end of May.

We expect the application to be approved by Apple during this week.

Public Beta announcement

ga.tribes announces the public beta of the "dot tribes" platform.

The first product of the platform is going to be submitted to the iTunes Application Store during the second week of February. The iPhone application will be followed by other platforms during the upcoming months.

The first service of the platform is going to be a Content Management Application for communities. It will be a web service that will aggregate content and user behavior, generating content filters based on collective intelligence.

The client applications will be extremely easy to use and very simple to understand. Users will not need to know about news distribution protocols or enter to any web site, just read the news and content.

The applications will be community based. It means that the platform will not be immediately available for all the internet content. The first two communities to be launched will be "green dot tribes" and "charity dot tribes". The applications for these communities will be free of charge at the launch time. "charity dot tribes" will always be free of charge.

Stay in touch for more information about the "dot-tribes" platform. Because "The Internet is at your service".
